968 Hard Cornering at VIR
The Appalachian Region has recently inaugurated a track program to assist its member who wish to participate in PCA auto-cross and driver education events. Please contact our Track Chair, David Wells if you would like to work on our Track Committee or attend an event.
March 19-21 – Virginia International Raceway (3/19 is limited to white run group drivers and above)
May 22-14 – Virginia International Raceway
September 12-13 – Carolina Motorsports Park
October 16-18 – Road Atlanta

Roebling Road Raceway
This track is located at 1135 Roebling Road, Bloomingdale, GA 31302, about 4 hours from Asheville – website (click to view) – track map (click to view). There is also a turn-by-turn tour of the track (click to view).
PCA has also composed an annotated track map (click to view).
Virginia International Raceway (VIR)
This track is located at 1245 Pine Tree Rd, Alton, VA 24520, about 4 1/2 hours from Asheville – website (click to view). Event organizers can use one of four track configurations – full course (click to view), north course (click to view), south course (click to view), or patriot course (click to view).

Tech Inspection Form
A tech inspection is required of all cars that participate in PCA driver education events. Although the forms are similar, most regions require that you use theirs for their events. Here is the one that the Appalachian Region develped for ours (click to view).
Coastal Empire Log Book
The Coastal Empire Region has develped a log book for students in their driver education program, which is useful primarily for those active in that region's DE program at Roebling Road Raceway (click to view). If your printer can make two-sided prints, set it to flip on the short side to create a booklet from the file. If your printer makes only signle-sided copies, it would probably be easiest to take the pdf file to a quick-print shop and tell them how you want it flipped.
