Over 40 Appalachian Region members brought their Porsches out to Asheville Outlets for the monthly AppCafe´ event. This is a no commitment but fun event to see friends, cars and meet new members.
New AppCafe´ Chairs Lance and Christine Swier added new elements to the party this year with Coffee and pastries from new Asheville Outlets Coffee Shop Overlook Coffee and a door prize raffle for those who bring a car out to the show.
Winners of the Porsche Motorsports Backpack and water bottle were new member John Zeisz and regular attendee Nicole Davis. Congratulations to you both.
The pastries were special this month as Cider donuts were on hand from a local Cider Mill. They didn’t last long as attendees enjoyed this special fall treat.
The party broke up early when 14 Porsches left on the Oktoberfest Photoshoot Driving Tour. In preparation for the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest Celebration that fundraises for MANNA FoodBank on October 28, 2023, a photo shoot was planned at the new venue site, the Old Bishop Place Farm in Cedar Mountain, North Carolina.
Registration for this now annual “must-attend” event that will bring over 100 Porsches and 200 PCA members together opens on September 15, 2023. Here is an early look at the event: https://aprpca.org/356B/index.php/events/appalachian-event/1145-oktoberfest-tour-party-fundraiser-231028
The next AppCafe´ Porsches & Coffee is scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2023. There is no sign-up or commitment, just come out for coffee, pastries, socializing and a chance to win a door prize.
See you at the Café!
