Although our Anniversary Celebration is only 2 days away, the APR Board of Directors has made the decision to postpone the event.
A lot of information regarding COVID-19 has become available in the last 24 hours. That information has caused us to believe that it is in the best interest of our members to reschedule the Party after we are all comfortable that the COVID-19 threat is in check.
Matt Pohsweg, our Region Treasurer, has indicated that the $30 per person ticket price will be refunded to you today and that you should receive notice of this through Paypal by tomorrow.
Our Contract with the Country Club of Asheville held us liable for all charges with a cancellation within 30 days. I am happy to report that CCA this morning has waived any and all penalty charges due. We are very grateful for their understanding and look forward to rescheduling the event with them as soon as it is practical to do so.
Please be cautious with your own social contacts at this time. We will be closely monitoring progress on controlling the COVID virus and will send notice to all members about future APR events. At this time the next APR event is the Board of Directors Meeting scheduled for April 2nd. I look forward to seeing you when this pandemic is under better control. Stay healthy!
