New Member Picnic - May 21, 2023
Summer Picnic Chairs, Carole and Gene Carter are bringing a whole new concept to the New Member Picnic to introduce new members to existing members. Our picnic at The Ramble was always terrific, but we have outgrown it as our club is now over 600 members.
The new location is the Point Lookout Vineyard that offers a beautiful pavilion with 30-mile 180° views. We also are changing up the food by offering a catered box lunch, and of course, wine will be available for purchase from Point Lookout. New members had the first opportunity for sign-up, but registration is now open for all members of the Appalachian Region. Please contact Jim Moore if you haven't received an invitation.

News in the Region
Car Control Clinic Canceled
We have had to cancel the Car Control Clinic at the Michelin Proving Grounds originally scheduled for May 13, 2023 due to the unavailability of affordable track time at the facility. The Michelin Proving Grounds is an active proving grounds for Michelin and their automotive manufacturer customers so they get first choice on track availability. This year scheduling just didn't work out for us.
In place of the car control clinic consider signing up for an Autocross or HPDE event where you can also learn about the great driving performance characteristics of your Porsche in a safe environment.
See you at an Appalachian Region Event!
