The Appalachian Region is happy to announce that Hagerty Insurance has come on board as a Titanium Sponsor of the Region for 2022. Hagerty provides "insurance for people who love cars." Their goal is to keep collectible cars on the road.

Hagerty Insurance only protects classics and modern collector cars (i.e.,your newer Porsche if it is not a daily driver) so the insurance can be up to 34% lower than your daily driver insurance. In addition to lower premiums, a big advantage is that Hagerty offers "Guaranteed Value" where you work with Hagerty to establish an agreed value on your Porsche so will be paid every cent of your car’s insured value in the event of a covered total loss.

If your Porsche or other collectible in your garage are not daily drivers, you owe it to yourself to have Hagerty provide a quote for their insurance. Hagerty Insurance will be present at the upcoming Luft Wasser Porsche Club Celebration in Brevard on May 14, 2022 so you can speak to their representatives there. I have had my Porsches insured with Hagerty since 1998 so I am a firm believer in their product.

In addition to the lower premiums that you can expect with collector car insurance, Hagerty will be offering Appalachian Region PCA members a 5% discount on your policy. Hagerty will also be providing roadside assistance service for our upcoming Luft Wasser tours should your vehicle experience a service problem on the way to Brevard. For more information on Hagerty products visit their web site.

Thank you to Sponsorship Chair Yohan Sookdeo for making this sponsorship happen and thank you Hagerty for supporting the Appalachian Region.

The big event for May is the Luft Wasser Porsche Club Celebration in Brevard. We have seven tours driving to Brevard and a parade of over 65 Porsches into town that will lead to over 200 Porsches lining the Main Street of Brevard on Saturday, May 14, 2022 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

And, best of all, the Appalachian Region will make a significant contribution to The Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club of Transylvania County through registration, sponsorship and a generous matching fund donation by a club member.

Come to Brevard on May 14th to view the cars, speak with members and visit the displays of our sponsors Porsche Asheville, Hagerty and K&M Collision. Stop at the Appalachian Region hospitality tent for a bottle of water, and information on the event and The Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club of Transylvania County.

See you in Brevard!
