Breakfast Ramble at the Smoky Mountain Diner in Hot Springs - Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.
No sign-up is necessary to enjoy one of the best breakfasts in WNC with Appalachian Region members. On this holiday weekend take a drive up to Hot Springs to sit on the deck Saturday morning at the Smoky Mountain Diner. You find your own way to Hot Springs and then join Appalachian Region members for breakfast. There are so many great roads to Hot Springs and back home that it makes for a nice Saturday morning excursion. We hope to see you in Hot Springs on Saturday, April 16.
Social Mixer at Sierra Nevada in Mills River - Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
The Sierra Nevada Social Mixer is one of the most popular Social Mixers of the year that always brings out a crowd of Appalachian Region members. If it is nice, we'll be out on the patio. The beer is great but the food is even better. These are casual events. Join us when you can; either on your way home from work or right at 5:00 p.m. See you at Sierra Nevada on Wednesday.
Sign-up Today for the New Hike & Drive Event on May 25, 2022
Following last year's successful Craggy Gardens Drive & Hike we're adding another hike to the calendar on May 25, 2022. This hike will take you from the Folk Art Center to a picnic lunch at the Haw Creek Overlook. This is a five-mile roundtrip hike along the Mountains-to-Sea Trail. It starts at 10:00 a.m. and you should return about 2:00 p.m. Hike Leaders David and Dianne will be supplying complimentary custom made maple name tags. Sign-up Now for the Next High Performance Driver's Education (HPDE) at Road Atlanta, June 4 & 5, 2022
We continue our HPDE series with the next stop at Road Atlanta that occurs on June 4 and 5. This HPDE is filling up fast so you need to sign up now to reserve your spot. If you have never participated in an HPDE, but have always wanted to try one, now is the time.
A first-time introductory program has been put in place so we'll walk you through step-by-step with how to have your first bit of fun and safety on the track. This link has details on the event and how to register. We are already have nine of us attending.The track is new for eight of us so don't feel that you'll be left behind. Join us and try driving the world-famous Road Atlanta.
Luft Wasser is Sold Out but You Can Still Support Our Charity Partner.
The Luft Wasser Porsche Club Celebration in Brevard on May 14, 2022 sold out in 11 hours with 200 Porsches scheduled to take-over the Main Street of Brevard from 10:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m.
The Registration fee for this year's event will be used to fundraise for The Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club of Transylvania County. In addition, we have had an anonymous PCA member from the Brevard area offer to match registrations and donations up to $7,500. If you would like to add an extra donation to the Boys & Girls Club you can click on this link to make an additional donation.
If you weren't one of the lucky ones to register for one of the spots still plan on coming to Brevard to see this great spectacle of one the largest Porsche gatherings in the Southeast. View cars, talk to owners, shop and eat. It is a fun day that starts with the Brevard High School Marching Band leading a parade of Porsches into town.
