We have a New Monthly Event scheduled to start on November 10th. Black Mountain Perks, a morning Coffee Social get together scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month beginning on November 10th. This month's Brewery Social will be held at Highland Brewing in Asheville on November 17th. More info at November Brewery Social. Enjoy a beer and Porsche conversation on the third Wednesday of every month at a different Regional Microbrewery!
The APR 2022 Tour Planning Meeting will be held on November 19th at Bear Waters Brewing in Canton. Have a say in next year's Tour destinations and get to know more members by participating in Tour leadership! More info can be found here: 2022 Tour Planning.
Another new Region Event this year will combine a Christmas Toy Drive and the App Cafe from 9-11:00 AM on November 20th. The Appalachian Region will be sponsoring a toy drive to benefit Eblen Charities’ Saint Nicholas Project.
This is our Region's first Christmas Toy Drive so be sure not to miss out on the fun. Bring your Frunk or Trunk filled 911, Boxter/Cayman, transaxle or 4-door to share some early Christmas Spirit and help the less fortunate kids in the Asheville area to have a Merry Christmas! Looking beyond November, the Appalachian Region Annual Meeting will be held this year at the Country Club of Asheville at 10 AM on December 4th. The Meeting will be followed by the December Monthly meeting of the APR Board. All members are welcome to attend both meetings. More details can be found here (soon): Annual Meeting.
I'm very happy to announce that the Appalachian Region / Porsche Asheville Christmas Party is returning this year. This year's Charity Partner will be MANNA FoodBank. The event will be held on December 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Dealership. Please mark your calendars. Your RSVP invitation will arrive in your email inbox soon.
We are also happy to announce a new Region Event: The 2022 New Year's APR Social and Sim Race to be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Registration will open for racers at Noon on November 15th and close on November 30th. Some of us have tried Sim Racing at the new Track at Asheville and it's ton of fun! Come to socialize or to socialize and race. Complimentary Coffee & Donuts will be available for all members. Trophies will be awarded to the champions in each of two classes. Lastly, are you thinking about a new Porsche for Christmas? If so, you're probably aware that they are scarcer than hen's teeth right now. Although Porsche Asheville is fresh out of new stock, they currently have about 8 CPO Porsches to offer, including Boxters, Caymans, 911's and Macans. If you're interested, drop by to take a look while they are still available.
