We hope that you are well and enjoying the Spring weather, even if you are staying close to home.

Well I'm not sure about you, but I have now had sufficient time to get my "when I get the time" tasks done. I'm now looking forward to the "things I'd like to be able to do" time to return.

The APR Board held its May teleconference meeting on April 30th. Much of the discussion was again centered on when we could reschedule our Spring and Summer Events. Although nothing is yet certain, we are optimistic that we may be in business again within the next few months. We have tentatively scheduled an APR member Drive and Dine for June 6th. With any luck we may be able to picnic together and still follow social distancing requirements. We hope to announce final details before the end of May. Other Dine & Drives will follow once we are able to move about again.

We are still on track for Appalachian Adventure on September 10-13 in Blowing Rock, NC. Luft Wasser's April 25th date had to be cancelled, but we are planning a new Luft Wasser event for October 10th. More details on both events to follow early this summer. The APR 5-Year Anniversary Party cancelled last month has been rescheduled for November 4th. Save the dates!

Last month I asked if anyone would be interested in purchasing an Appalachian Region Grill Badge for your Porsche. Unfortunately, the response was not what we had hoped for. With a minimum order of 25, the 12 badges spoken for are not enough to cover at least most of the cost to order. Maybe next time.

The Service and Sales Departments are again open at Porsche Asheville. Please visit their website at PorscheAsheville.com for an appointment today!

Please continue to take care of yourselves and your family. Stay safe, healthy and positive!

My best,
