Good afternoon Appalachian Region members!
I hope you are all getting your sleepy Porsches out for a spin on sunny days like today. Spring may not be right around the corner, but your Region team has been busy planning a lot of interesting indoor activities coming up in the month of February.
Our February Board of Directors Meeting will start at 3:30pm this Thursday, January 30th in the Conference Room at Porsche Asheville. All Region Members are invited to attend.
Also at Porsche Asheville, on Saturday, February 1st at 10am we will hold our 2nd Tech Session of 2020. This session will discuss features and new technology found in the newest 911 model, the 992. Patrick Laughton, PA's Master Technician, will walk us through the improvements and introduce us to one of our member's 2020 911 S.
Still thinking about getting more involved with PCA? Join Bob Herrmann and his Appalachian Adventure Planning Committee on Saturday, February 8th also in the Porsche Asheville Conference Room. At this first 2020 planning meeting the group will get started working on the details to create another great summer PCA weekend. The event will be held September 10-14th in Blowing Rock. New volunteers are welcome to attend!
On Wednesday, February 12th our monthly Social Mixer will be held at New Belgium Brewery in Asheville from 5-7pm. Guests from the Smoky Mountain Region are planning to join us to discuss their May, 3-day event called Spring Thing. Meet old and new friends, all wearing the white PCA name badges.
On Saturday, February 15th plan to attend a Post-Valentine Breakfast at the Corner Kitchen Restaurant in Biltmore Village. Please sign up on the APR Website at aprpca.org and plan to arrive by 9:30am.
Remember to save March 14th to attend our 5th year Region Charter Anniversary Party at the Asheville Country Club – details and reservations.
Did you notice that our first three events this month will take place at Porsche Asheville? PA does a ton for our Region. Please thank them the next time you're visiting for Service, Sales or PCA activities. Stay warm, have fun and plan to attend one or all of the Region's planned February activities. I hope to see you there soon!
