Greetings friends of the Appalachian Region Driver Education Program!

The morning meet-up at the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor’s Center started the day with an immediate change in plans.

The Appalachian Region is fortunate to have the best driving roads and scenery in the country and the July 22, 2020 Crack the Whip drive didn’t let us down.

Sim Racing provides fun and competitive online racing against members from all 14 Zones!

I hope you had a pleasant Holiday weekend and have been enjoying the warmer weather we are experiencing. Open windows or top down driving are great ways to leave COVID thoughts in the rear view mirror!

Appalachian Region was finally able to return to the road again after the COVID-19 Stay-at-Home order was lifted.

We hope that everyone is well and beginning to emerge from COVID hibernation! Here in NC we are feeling increasingly better as we slowly return to our normal lives - haircuts, restaurants and driving!

We hope that you are well and enjoying the Spring weather, even if you are staying close to home.

Hello members of Zone 3! I have been purposely offline these past few weeks; I didn't think you needed anything from me as your Regions have had much to tell you.

We held our April Mixer as a video conference.

I trust that you are well and staying safe as we navigate our way through this most unusual time.

First and Foremost, we want you to know that we value the health and safety of our customers and staff.

Do you remember how you felt just before your first event driving at a race track? Don’t you wish someone had told you what to expect, and how to prepare?

I hope that all of you are well and remain that way through the coming months. We are all currently experiencing a very stressful time. I want to let you know what the Appalachian Region's plans are for the next 6 weeks.

We had planned to show this video about our first five years at the anniversary party.

Although our Anniversary Celebration is only 2 days away, the APR Board of Directors has made the decision to postpone the event.

About a dozen Appalachian members met at busy Hillman Beer in Biltmore Village for our March casual social.
