The new Breakfast Socials continue to be a hit with club members as the recent Breakfast at the Randevu in Cashiers, NC saw 21 cars with 36 participants register to participate.
The recent monsoon rains saw several cars and members stay in their garages but it was still a great turnout at the Randevu where they had tables and a room set-aside for the Appalachian Region of PCA.
The drive to Cashiers was Porsche-worthy whether one drove NC-64 from Brevard or NC-107 from Waynesville. The author made a big loop out of the day experiencing both of these twisty, elevation-changing roads that had his black turbo eating asphalt while hugging the turns.
After the terrific breakfast and great camaraderie, everyone headed off in their own direction. Some visited the unique Farmer’s Market of Cashiers, while others traveled on to Highlands, but everyone was able to enjoy a fun drive, good food and the friendliness of PCA Appalachian Region.
We hold these events frequently; you can see where here.
See you at the picnic on June 9.
