Our October 5 breakfast ramble was to the very popular Honey & Salt in Flat Rock.
To avoid lengthy waits for tables, we scheduled the start at 8:00 am., meaning of course that Appalachian members begain arriving before 7:30., This did violate at least one member's policy of never going anywhere so early in the morning that he had to turn on his headlights to get out of the garage. Our Events Chair, Jim Moore, and the restaurant staff corregraphed a complex dance that involved a floating wait-listed table to get everybody seated quickly despite the crowd. Thanks to this work we all enjoyed the good meal and good conversation to which we've become accustomed on these morning excursions.
We hold these events frequently; you can see where here.
