More than 30 Appalachian members met for breakfast at the Smoky Mountain Diner on Saturday, September 21.
It was scheduled to begin at 9:30, but of course more than a few arrived before 9:00. The early arrivals drove through patchy fog, which quickly cleared, and by the time food began to arrive, we had a beautiful sunny morning in which to enjoy our meal on the restaurant's porch.
Our next breafast ramble is at Honey and Salt in Flat Rock, NC on Saturday, October 5 at 8:00 a.m. – details and reservations.
We hold these events frequently; you can see where here.
