Over 40 members of the Appalachian Region of PCA celebrated St Patrick’s Day, a day early with a lunch ramble to Lulu’s on Main in Sylva, N

The Main Street of Sylva was lined with Cayman’s, 911’s, Boxsters, Cayenne’s and Macan’s as the nice weather allowed members to bring their Porsches out of the garage for a pleasant drive to Sylva.

As usual the people arrived early and filled the tables intermingling with old friends and making some new friends. That is the great thing about the lunch and breakfast rambles, you never know the old or new friends that you’ll share a meal with.

Lulu’s had their regular menu but offered specials focused on Irish specialties including Corned Beef & Cabbage, Fish & Chips and a Beef Stew. Since Lulu’s is a “Best of WNC” the food was excellent. There wasn’t a moment of silence as conversation was flowing.

April brings several exciting events for club members to look forward to attending. The first is a Breakfast Ramble on April 6 at the Pisgah Inn. The Inn features great food, but more importantly one of the best views in the world while you eat. The drive to and from Pisgah also provides a world-class drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway – details and registration.
