Just a few comments about upcoming Appalachian Region events:

For those interested in ‘straying a little farther’:

We are certainly happy to be able to use the conference room at Porsche Asheville again! (Remember to thank Charlie Shieren next time you see him!)

As far as our first-of-the-Month-Saturday monthly meetings, I would like to start driving Treffen Asheville routes (whole or in-part) in March as long as the weather cooperates. We also have the Mini-Appalachian Adventure coming up May 19-21. Don Therien has done an amazing job of scouting out Abingdon, VA, setting up accommodations at the Martha Washington Inn, tickets for ‘Footloose’ at the Barter Theater and a special group bicycle ride of the Virginia Creeper Trail. Details will be forthcoming in a separate e-mailing. Stay tuned…

Jason Howard, our Social Media Chair, did a wonderful job of getting our Facebook page up, but alas, he has sold his Porsche and will be stepping down from the post. Thanks, Jason! If you have an interest in serving as the Social Media or Events Chair (our current vacancies), please let me know. Thanks! And a special thank you to all those who continue to serve our Region: your efforts are appreciated.

As always, you can stay current with Appalachian Region and other area car activities by visiting our website.
