We had a great turnout at Stuttgart Motorwerks on a beautiful Saturday morning; I saw a lot of new faces and I apologize for not getting around to meet you.

Thanks to Pete Martin for hosting us!

Now that the weather seems to be more spring-like, our thoughts will turn to more 'pleasurable' driving.  March is a great time for a safety inspection, providing ample opportunity to take care of maintenance items on your Porsche before we are into the 'full-swing driving' season.

Speaking of driving, our scheduled 2 April 'Dine & Drive' will start in Candler, passing through Leicester and Luck, ending at Pasquales in Waynesville for lunch: some of the best mountain roads in this area. Mark your calendars!  Details to follow soon...

Hopefully everyone is aware by now that registration is open for the Appalachian Adventure, 12-14 August, at the Fontana Village Resort.  More information and a registration link is available on our website. Don't forget that you also need to make room reservations at the Resort. Mention 'Appalachian Adventure/Porsche Club' to get the reduced room rate.

And finally, here are some culled results from our recent surveys. Thanks to all those who responded; we have some great comments, ideas and even a few volunteers (whom I will be contacting soon; Thanks!).

As I write this, my wife Claudia and I are preparing to drive our '68 912 coupe to the Hill Country Rallye in Kerrville, Texas: 'Rusty' has 'new shoes' from Jan Davis Tire, new windshield wiper blades and fresh oil/filter but still needs a number of other maintenance issues addressed before our departure.  Please 'keep after' maintenance and safety items on your vehicles and I hope you have a 'great adventure' planned for your Porsche soon.  And as always, 'Keep the shiny side up!'
