We have changed the format of our social mixers from meetings in taprooms to video conferences. If you've already participated in one, you can join us just by having Skype running at 5:00 so we can call you. You needn't register again.

If you haven't yet participated, here’s how you can.

• Install Skype on your PC or cell phone.
• Register for the call before 3:00 pm. April 8 by using the button below.
• I'll e-mail you instrtuctions on how to participate.
• Be at your PC or cell phone with Skype running at 5:00, with your beverage of choice.

This is new to everybody, so we can expect some snags. If you have any questions or want to try Skype before the meeting e-mail me at website@aprpca.org.

We'll use the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor's Center as our Meeting Point for this drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway enjoying the sights and smooth roads that this national treasure in our backyard provides.

But, don't get lulled into a trance with the smooth sweepers of the Parkway because we'll turn off just before Little Switzerland to crack the famous Devil's Whip drive where we'll descend 2,000' in more than 50 turns over 12 miles.  It is an exciting and exhilarating drive worthy of your Porsche's performance.  Of course, you'll drive this section at what you feel comfortable at for maximum safety.

After this fun "Porsche-style" drive we'll pull into Bostic, North Carolina where we'll end at the Blue Ridge Distillery for a tour of how the local Defiant Whiskey is made. 

There will be two groups for this event, one leaving at 9:00 am. and the other at 10:00. Lunch will be along the drive where we'll stop to enjoy a socially distant correct spacing of 6' while you enjoy the lunch that you packed.  Group 1 will eat at a picnic grounds in the Marion area while group two will enjoy lunch at Mt Mitchell mid-way in the drive.  

Our July 22 event sold out very quickly and we have added this one to accommodate those who weren't able to register for it.
