Tech Session: 3D Parts Printing Demo
Is 3D Printing the Future for Parts? See a 3D Printing Demo at HPTautosport in November
As the temperatures drop, we move Appalachian Region events indoors with the start of our Tech Sessions. The November 5 Tech Session will focus on what could be the future of auto parts production: 3D Printing.
HPTautosport in Arden, North Carolina will provide a demonstration of how HPT uses 3D printing to produce specialized parts for customers of HPT Autosport.
A "hands-on" demonstration will occur from creating the 3D computer imaging to actual production of some Porsche art "live" while we all watch.
HPTautosport focuses on parts for Japanese brands but it is known that Porsche is also producing parts with 3D printing so it is a technology we should be aware of as the industry changes.
In addition to an interesting, informative 3D Printing demonstration, a Porsche GT3 Cup Race Car will also be on display for a discussion on the uniqueness of a race prepared Porsche versus a street Porsche. HPTautosport will be also be providing attendees with coffee and snacks to enjoy during the session.
Tech Session Details: HPT Autosport, 114 Oval Rd, Arden, NC, Saturday, November 5 at 9:30 a.m.
