Wednesday, August 12 – 9:30 am. and 10:30 am. — Tail of the Dragon Drive – Driving the northern section of the Moonshiner 28 to Deal’s Gap where we will make two passes on the Tail of the Dragon before driving to the Tapoco Lodge for lunch – details and reservations.
Wednesday, August 12 – 1:00 pm. — Tapoco Lunch Scramble – Topoco Lodge offers a scenic restaurant outdoor seating area overlooking a beautiful flowing river crashing over rocks – details & reservations.
Wednesday, August 19 – 5:00 to 7:00 pm. — Social Mixer – We'll meet at Mary's Burrito on NC191, just south of Long Shoals Road, in Arden, for our first in-person social mixer of the season. To conform to social distancing guidelines we require registration for this event – details & registration.
Saturday, August 29 – 8:30 am. — SUV Drive to Wayah Bald – Region members will dust off their Macans and Cayennes with David Stori and David Angelus leading us on a drive along a Forest Service Road to the top of Wayah Bald – details & registration (opens 8/14).
Tuesday, September 1 – 1:00 to 3:00 pm. — Manna Foodbank – Volunteers work at our charity partner's Swannanoa River Road location. Contact David Butler if you would like to help.
