Wednesday, July 22 – 9:00 am. — Crack the Whip Drive & Dine – After a tour of the Devil's Whiip, we'll visit the Blue Ridge Distillery. The event is tentative; we'll hold it only if permitted by PCA and NC health guidelines – details & reservations.
Saturday, July 25 – 9:30 am. — Crack the Whip Drive & Dine 2 – Our July 22 event filled very quickly, and we set up this one so more of our members can experience this drive – details & reservations.
Tuesday, July 28 – 10:30 am. — Planning Meeting for the APR Das Farbe Picnic – We'll meet at The Old Bishop Place Farm, 714 Reasonover Road, Cedar Mountain to begin planning this event. If you are interested in working on it, please register (whether or not you can attend the meeting) – details and registration.
Thursday, July 30 – 4:00 pm. — APR Board Meeting – This will be a conference call. All Appalachian members are welcome; please contact Don Therien if interested.
Tuesday, August 4 – 1:00 to 3:00 pm. — Manna Foodbank – Volunteers work at our charity partner's Swannanoa River Road location. Contact David Butler if you would like to help.
Wednesday, August 12 – 9:30 am. and 10:30 am. — Tail of the Dragon Drive – Driving the northern section of the Moonshiner 28 to Deal’s Gap where we will make two passes on the Tail of the Dragon before driving to the Tapoco Lodge for lunch – details and reservations.
Wednesday, August 12 – 1:00 pm. — Tapoco Lunch Scramble – Topoco Lodge offers a scenic restaurant outdoor seating area overlooking a beautiful flowing river crashing over rocks – details & reservations.
