The seamless and instantaneous acceleration provided by the new Porsche Cayenne EV was demonstrated by Parker Grove and his team to a packed house of Appalachian Region members this past Saturday, August 29, 2026.
A genuinely out-of-this-word driving tour was enjoyed in a Meet-in-the-Middle format on August 28, combining groups leaving Hendersonville and Waynesville to marvel at the history and ongoing work performed at the Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute (PARI) in Rosman, NC.

New Members from the past six months are invited by the Board of Appalachian Region of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) to attend a new member social at Porsche Asheville. This early evening event will offer hors d'oeuvres and beverages, and the opportunity to learn how to “Have fun with Your Porsche!” on the road and through many social events.
Driving Tour to Hemlock Farm for horses, cars and BBQ. The Hemlock Farm driving tour will take us on a drive to Burnsvillle where we'll arrive at Hemlock Farm for a tour of a Porsche Collection from 356's to early 911's to modern performance Porsches. Several Ferraris have also joined the collection since our last visit. BBQ lunch will be served from Pig & Grits.
