Appalachian Region-PCA: Events Reminder

It’s not too late to sign up for this coming Saturday’s ‘Breakfast Ramble in the South’ to Columbus at the The Rural Seed Restaurant, 322 East Mills Street. (The Rural Seed is 0.8 mile from I-26 going east on Rt. 108, and only about 1/4 mile from the center of Columbus.) There is continuation drive onto Eurofest held at the Preserve at Verdae Green in Greenville. Reservations are required for the Breakfast Ramble: more information and registration link may be found on our website Breakfast Ramble in the South. Tickets for Eurofest are $15 at the door, $10 in advance; more info may be found here: Eurofest.

It is also time to sign up for our November event, the 8th Annual ‘Saluting Our Veterans’ Open Car and Bike Show to be held from 10am-2pm on Saturday, November 3rd. The entry fee is $15; checks should be made payable to ‘Voluntary Services’. As always, we will be operating a hospitality park for PCA. More information and registration form are available on our website: VA Car Show. If you cannot attend, please consider making a small donation to Voluntary Services for the work they do supporting our veterans! (‘VA Voluntary Services’, 1100 Tunnel Rd, Asheville, NC 28805) All proceeds benefit the Patient Recreational Therapy Programs.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his/her life, wrote a blank check made payable to ‘The United States of America’ for an amount ‘up to and including my life’.
