(Newland, NC October 2018) On October 13, 2018, over 20 Porsches will be descending on Newland, NC for the High Country Leaf Tour organized by local resident Greg Seiz, of Carolina Window Fashions.

The cars will be meeting at 9:30 am at City Hall before they depart at 10:00 am with a processional drive down Main Street on their way to the Blue Ridge Parkway to view the fall color at Linn Cove Viaduct.

The Porsches and their driver/navigators will be following a route from the Linn Cove Viaduct down NC-221 to Blowing Rock for a drive down Main Street before heading off to the Mast General Store Annex in Valle Crucis where they’ll enjoy a break.

From Valle Crucis the tour will drive the curves and elevation gain of US-194 where they’ll proceed to Banner Elk for lunch and a display of their cars in front of the Banner Elk Cafe while they enjoy lunch.

The Porsche Club’s High Country Leaf Tour is organized by Newland resident, Greg Seiz in conjunction with the Appalachian Region of the Porsche Club of America (PCA). PCA members will be participating from North and South Carolina and Georgia.
