There has been a change in leadership in the Tennessee Region. For personal reasons, Deems Riddle has stepped down as the Regions President. The new President, is Mike Toth. Mike will be supported by his EC staff … Ralph Petty, Vice President, Alan Clark, Secretary, and Scott LaFoy, Treasurer. I wish the new management team all the best as they go forward, and likewise thank Deems for all he has done, in his many, many years with the Tennessee Region.

The Coastal Empire Region wanted to share with you their activity with the charity Memory Matters, an organization that improves the quality for life with individuals diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimers, and their families. CER offers various activities, along with DE events at Roebling Road. These track days allow the Region to contribute proceeds to the local charity.

The Appalachian Region continues to put on events that need to be heralded! Another example, was their Luft, Wasser + Brevard event held 05.05.18, in Brevard, NC. Close to 100 Porsches lined the city streets of Brevard, and six Regions were represented! What a turnout!

Porsche dealers around the country have been told by PCNA, to hold a get together at their respective dealerships on June 09, on Sportscar Together Day. Check with your Region, or dealership for additional information. You received an email from me detailing the event at the PCNA headquarters in Atlanta, if you wish to celebrate the day there.

Kudos go out to the Peachstate Region, for stepping up and providing a cadre of volunteers for the Club Race held at Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds, Al, the weekend of May 18th. Great event. Many volunteers came from several Zone 3 Regions! Zone 3 drivers did very well too, with several taking podium positions in their races.

The Manthey Racing #912 Porsche 911 GT3 R won the 2018 ADAC 24 Hour of Nurburgring. The #911 was badly damaged earlier in the race, and did not finish. The #912 beat two Mercedes Benz AMG GT3 entries, who finished 2nd and 3rd.
