This is an updated announcement and invitation to Appalachian Region – PCA members to attend the Harmony Motors/Porsche Asheville and Appalachian Region – PCA Member Appreciation Track Day at Roebling Road Raceway on November 10, 2017. Registration for the event is now open on a first-come, first-served basis to include all members (even those who have been to a Harmony Motors/Porsche Asheville Roebling Road event previously and those who have attended a DE).

Members who have no track experience are still welcome to apply.

This is not a competition, but an educational opportunity for drivers of all experience levels, with PCA-approved instructors riding along and PCA safety rules in effect. We are very pleased to offer this event exclusively to Appalachian Region – PCA members with the assistance and support of Harmony Motors/Porsche Asheville. The event will be run as a PCA Drivers Education (DE) session. There will be multiple run groups, with student groups (with PCA instructors riding along) on the track at different times than the instructor group. We anticipate fewer groups than a typical DE, so you should have plenty of time on track during the day.

When? Friday November 10, 2017, 7:30 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Where? Roebling Road Raceway, Bloomingdale (Savannah) Georgia. Driving time to the Bloomingdale area from Asheville is just under 5 hours.

Who? Appalachian Region - PCA members are invited to register. You need not have purchased your Porsche at Harmony Motors/Porsche Asheville to participate. This event is limited to 22 participants driving Porsches.

Cost? Harmony Motors/Porsche Asheville, Appalachian Region - PCA and the members that participate are sharing the expenses for this event. Participating AR - PCA members will be charged a fee of $115/driver, which includes lunch and refreshments at the track. Reduced room rates are available at the Hampton Inn and Suites Savannah Airport, which is located about 15 minutes from the track. (Note: these reduced room rates will be available 11/9/17 - 11/12/17 for those that would also like to visit the Savannah area after the event.)

How and when do I sign up? RSVP NOW to track@aprpca.org (Please include your name, email address, cell phone #, year and model of your Porsche, previous track experience if any, name of any guest attending with you and whether they will also be driving on the track. (They must be licensed and 18 or older to drive).) We currently have 9 “first-timers” enrolled in the event, the first 22 Appalachian Region - PCA members and guests that register as drivers will be sent a confirmation letter with details including Roebling Road Raceway information, Hampton Inn and Suites Savannah Airport group block code, Porsche Asheville sample tech inspection (required) form, optional on track vehicle insurance information, directions to the track, etc.
