On Saturday, July 22, 20 Appalachian members made another dry run of a Treffer Asheville tour.
The route was north on Route 25 to Hot Springs then south on 209 to Waynesville, where they enjoyed a fine lunch at the Laurel Ridge Coiuntry Club. Then it was a short drive through a brief rainstorm to Wheels Through Time. Although the emphasis is on American-made motorcycles, the museum also features many interesting historic cars. Guides are eager to describe the histories and technical details of the exhibits, and anyone with even a mild interest in vehicles will find it easy to spend several hours here.
