I receive a lot of emails asking for Porsche service recommendations, but I am stuck in the 60's (1968 to be exact) with a single model of Porsche (912; ok, maybe a couple of other air-cooled models too).

In the current lull of AR-PCA events/activity/emails, I am asking for your input to help other members of the Appalachian Region: if you have an automotive shop that you are willing to recommend, please let me know. It can be a dedicated Porsche service shop, a body shop, painter, detailer, motor/transmission guy, powder coater, whatever you've had done: I will compile a list for distribution to all AR members! For reference, please indicate the shop name, service person' name (if appropriate), specialty, address and the type of service you're recommending: email information to president@aprpca.org. Your experience could benefit our whole community!!

(Oh yes: look for Appalachian Region 'News from the Regions' in upcoming Panaoramas!)

The two pictures (taken at a stop at the historic Tapoco Lodge during a check-out drive of the Tail of the Dragon tour) are a shameless plug for Treffen Asheville.
